Darwin Queer History Walking Tour
Discover Darwin’s queer past with a history walking tour with Dr Dino Hodge. Learn about the secret same-sex desires of European explorers and see where a flamboyant social scene emerged in the post-war years, paving the way for gay community organisations and more.
His Own Special Friend
His Own Special Friend by Dr Dino Hodge is a one-hour performance about the history of homosexual men in Darwin, presented at Brown’s Mart in 1993. An insight into the rubbing edge between frontier men of diverse sexuality and the development of gay sensibility in one of Australia’s most multicultural cities.

Experience the sweet melting pot of art, inclusivity, and joy at the intersection of Street Art and Rainbow culture. "The Sweet Honey Collective" is a vibrant street party co-produced by the Darwin Street Art Festival and the Sugarbag Festival, set against the backdrop of Darwin's iconic Austin Lane.
ARAFURA MUSIC COLLECTIVE
Experience "Kaleidoscope" by Arafura Music Collective: a symphonic exploration of Sally Whitwell, Robert McIntyre, Cheryl Durongpisitkul and Felicity Wilcox's compositions.
